PM: Russia’s econ growth may exceed global rates in 2019–2020
BOCHAROV RUCHEI, Sochi, May 22 (PRIME) -- The Russian economy’s growth pace may exceed a global average level in 2019–2020 under a plan of action of the government, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said late May 19 at a meeting with President Vladimir Putin.
“In accordance with your order the government has prepared a comprehensive plan (of economic development, perspective development directions and means to reach these objectives). These are common approaches to how our economy and social sphere may develop in the period from 2017 till 2025,” Medvedev said presenting the plan to Putin.
“The growth pace of our economy may reach a global average level and top it in the period of 2019–2020,” Medvedev said.
